Rain down on me

that rainbow connection

Sky is too dull out here,

cloudy with a tint of gloom.

There have been heartaches during spring breaks,

let us knock out the grey misery.

I can't keep shining too bright,

around this house of glass,

fragile light burning too fast,

too quick I am getting tired.

There's a lot of gloom to fight.

Rain down with me,

meet me halfway in grey heights.

Don't let me burn in vain,

As we mingle,

my light passes through you,

we can paint the sky bright,

with all seven colors of the rainbow,

as we dance upon clouds.

Rain down with me,

it's time we connected,

to paint our rainbow connection,

We are living there's hope.

The pain has washed away,

sky has healed all wounds,

with our rainbow left behind.
