Rabbit, My Rabbit
Wonderland poetry challenge: Day 21

You were so small,
But your love was so big.
Quiet, soft, the best rabbit
You could ever be.
🐇
When you left, it was too soon.
I still look for you, talk to you,
I check your empty bed, your feeding tunnel,
Are you still there? Sometimes I feel you are.
🐇
Your ashes sit near me now,
Always, as you were once, always with me.
One day, when it’s my turn to rest,
I want to be with you again.
🐇
Let them place me with you, my last will,
My ashes mixed with your ashes,
So we can be together, forever,
Where love doesn’t end.
🐇

What a beautiful ode to your little bunny. All pets give us pure love that has no boundaries. Once they enter your heart, they are there forever.
Sorry for your loss Susan. Pets give us so much then break our hearts. A heart-warming poem and lovely tribute to Mr Pupu Bunny ❤
