Wonderland poetry challenge: Day 20

By Susan Fourtané Published 8 months ago 1 min read
Image by Susan Fourtané and Dall-e

She follows the white rabbit,

His buttons undone by the breeze.

The clock is broken,

But the rabbit runs as if he were late.

🐇

White teacups dance, a mouse in a hat,

Strawberry jam spills riddles on toast.

She laughs.

Logic is too far away from this land.

☕️

The cards make an entrance,

Roses painted in beautiful red,

She chooses the white ones, instead.

🌹

Quiet, like snow surprising in early May,

The rabbit waits, moving his tail,

Until she meets him again.

🐇
