Questions to Love

Love, where do you hide?

Behind a smile or maybe a lone tear,

In the sparkle of the eye or under the darkness of sheets,

Do you flit around the gardens, or are you embedded in a gem,

Can I find you at the end of the world, or do I search for you nearby?

Will you find me in a hug or come to me in a rush of words?

Why do you hide from me?

Where do I search for you?

Should I cry out for you or whisper to you in prayer?

Maybe I should wait for you to come find me,

And then I could show you what your job should be,

But you wouldn't be interested cause I know of you,

My sweetest poison,

My beautiful disaster,

So be your selfish self and hide,

Because when I find you, you'll want to stay with me forever.
