Prove them wrong.

Rising of the sunlight and the breaking of the dawn,

Droplets of the dew, hearts that then were drawn,

The toil of yesterday and the hope for what’s in store,

Patiently enduring, longing for something more,

The crops that started growing from the raging of the storm,

Breaking from the soil, hearts that saw grew warm,

Where scoffers had scorned, and mockers would then dissuade,

Now assurance was granted, a look of confidence soon, would trade,

The toil and the labor, the struggle and the strife,

The confident approach towards the work of your life,

While the cynics and the doubters come, and then distress,

You’re thankful for this moment, a voice to uplift, and bless…
