Projecting Your True Self

Inner Slides

By shanmuga priyaPublished 2 years ago β€’ 1 min read

Your eyes are like a projector,

Casting visions on the world outside,

But the scenes you see are reflections

Of the landscapes you hold inside.

Never try to alter the screen,

That displays the life you see unfold,

For it's not the canvas that needs change,

But the slides in the reel you hold.

Within you lie all the images,

Of dreams and desires, pure and true,

Every hope and want you've ever known,

Exists in the depths of you.

Shift the slides with mindful hands,

Let inner light illuminate,

Transform the scenes of your own mind,

And watch the outer world elate.

Your eyes, they project your inner world,

On the fabric of your days,

Change within, and see the world

Through a new, enlightened gaze.

The metaphor of the eyes as a projector casting visions, and the suggestion to "shift the slides with mindful hands" to transform the outer world, is a powerful reminder that our reality is shaped by our own thoughts, dreams, and desires. Thanks for sharing!
