The two warriors whispered and prayed in another tongue.
Feeling the bending of my knees,
I swayed down to the movie theater floor.
A girl a few rows away had thrown up in a popcorn bag.
Manifestations couldn’t be denied.
The lights flickered and then the employees asked us to leave.
The next movie was supposed to be showing soon.
Deliverance shook me through and through.
Soul, desired to be anew.
I’m grateful to have had willing brothers who stayed and prayed for me.
It is likely that I’ll never see them again on this side of eternity.
States away from there, that same night,
my parents had been praying for me too.

The connection between the warriors praying beside you and your parents praying miles away is beautiful. Divine timing.
I feel a strong connection to obedience in this as well :) great job!
So real and vulnerable! The whole scene feels surreal in the best way, like life cracked open right in the middle of a movie theater. Wild how strangers can show up for you in moments you never forget. ✨
In a world of clickbait theology and sensationalism, here you show the meeting of the mundane and the significant. It reminds me that we live our lives in the everyday. Well done and thank you.
Even a movie theater houses the church, and the Spirit moves in our midst. It reminds me of the Domino Revival movie about Mike Signorelli and the deliverance ministry that he has. This is really a great perspective on deliverance and the need for it.
