Postpartum Sonnet

Being You After Being Mommy

By Mindful RamblingsPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

You had a baby

Forever changed

Wondering maybe

More to rearrange

Look in the mirror

Are you still the same?

See yourself clearer

Mom is more than name

Love that baby dear

Piece of you is near

Some days will be hard

A smile comes through

Stress goes away far

Start everyday new

Selfish or selfless

Something in between

Never want to miss

Always have to clean

Miracle to hold

Time is precious gold

Best thing to happen

Hardest to have done

Can not imagine

Not having my son

What was life before

A different girl

Bring her back and more

Baby is your world

Remember find you

Again and stay true

About the Creator

Mindful Ramblings

Aka Camille... I have been writing mostly own on my own for years. It is one of my greatest joys in life to be able to express my thoughts without speaking. Never published anything until now. I hope you enjoy!
