Dandelions close to rain and night, preserving pollen and nectar Time Lapse By Frederick Dunn
When the air feels warm
So you reach out and touch her petals
Her breath wisps you away
Blowing on the petals
Her heated vines
Shudder your insides
When you reach out
Her warmth grips you
Air chokes out your lungs
A perfume of smells
One little flake dances past your eyes
The dots she leaves you in a daze
A hazing thought grips your mind
Dozing you softly to sleep
A trip you fall
Slumped next to a tree
A stump you stoop
Relinquished warm air
The hot summer sun
The beginning breeze
Wheeze out the pollen
As you begin to breath
Cough as you will
To begin the cycle of raspy summer air
To be fair
It smells are quite rare
