The theme for our Pastors' School a couple of years ago was "Preaching in the Purple Zone". It wasn't about rooting for K-State over KU.

That would be very nice. It really upsets me when I hear politicians throwing insults and hatred during their campaigns. Whatever happened to sticking to policy and what you will do to make life better for the majority of people?
One of my great peeves with contemporary American society is referring to people as "red" and "blue". It's a simple, but effective, "othering" technique used to dehumanize.
Nice. thats been one of my themes these days too.
