Slithering, coiling, climbing, like a worm

Into my brain it seeps and spins; their ideals and

Lies. Oh, how they lie! The lies and the facts, and the opinions

Endless sound bites of garbage and propaganda, of misinformation

Never ceasing television and podcasts and news stations and print stories

Challenging me to make the most important decision of our lives

Every four years it happens, why does this year feel so much more is at stake
