Cost of Healthcare

A fulfilling life

stands on three pillars:

physical, emotional, financial—

all entwined, no wonder.

For me, and for many,

the biggest issue is money.

Our mortgage is huge,

yet I was still okay.

It is my fort,

tt has a backyard

to grow food, to relax.

The neighborhood has fresh air.

Food costs are high,

but I buy ingredients,

and cook healthy meals,

so, it is still manageable.

But then came the shock.

Private preschool for kids—

thousands of dollars in fees.

To that scented rooms,

chemicals everywhere,

a lose–lose.

Kid goed to public school now.

It’s free, also food,

all good.

Then a molar tooth work

cost thousand bucks.

It was shocking.

One part of a complex body,

of family, of four,

how will be feel financially secure?

If they exploit like this,

I will be bankrupt.

So, I suggest this to all:

guard your health.

So those who profit from healthcare

cannot exploit you,

cannot eat your hard-earned savings

in the name of helping.

Then the financial leg

will not wobble.

Life stool will be stable.
