Poetry And Rhyming

Tomorrow is a rhyming day for me

and for maybe

several others you see.

It’s fun and a happy

time to rhyme for at least three

it is a guarantee.

We will be poets in February

A Poem a Day, every day it will be

contests and a real party

you see, to receive prizes for free.

~

Poetry is healing and poetry

is exactly what is needed for thee

and for me, what more can I say lady

just what the doctor ordered, lovely

time with the very best friends actually,

with those writing books and scary,

spooky, poetry for others, really.

~

There will be nonsense, love, and beauty

haiku’s and sonnets, some witty, and zany.

A chapbook will be the final win sweetie.

So much fun for all, while rhyming steady.

Who doesn’t love a good rhyming spree

it is a blast from the past some days baby!

Writing two or three or four poems daily

is a push to see what I can do buddy.

Poetry is fun, rhyming is lovely,

or is that the other way around honey?

Poetry is lovely, and rhyming is funny.

Oops, I was late for a very important tea

oh me, 10 minutes late, I was busy

writing this, time to go join the next party
