Pluviophilia Peace

For Sensational 2 Challenge. It's a poem. Obviously. About my favourite type of weather.

Pluviophilia Peace

Drip drop, pitter-patter, sounds echo memories frozen, former, latter—

I feel the storm calm on my skin, heaven's precipitation soaks me, denim sticks and takes root, and I win.

As the musky, pleasant petrichor fills my lungs, I am at peace in my Pluviophilia.

Every waterlogged step I take, every dramatic, satisfying splash in puddles I make, grants me serenity and escape.

I lick my lips as if the rain was some delicious life-enriching elixir—and of course, it is.

This poem beautifully presents the experience of rain. It is a deep amalgamation of the tangible experience of nature and spiritual peace. The choice of words and imagery creates an excellent impact that carries me away in a flow of emotions. It offers a seamless yet profound scene. Wonderful✨

Oh fantastic poem Paul!!! I had no idea that was a word, but it describes me perfectly!! I remember when I was going to school in England, we had this ridiculous rain storm. Thunder, lightning, and crazy torrential rain. So I went and sat in the castle courtyard, on an old stone bench, just letting the rain soak me. Loved this poem and the sense of beauty for the rain you managed to convey
