Menopause arrived like a new dashboard light.
Not a warning, but an invitation.
To slow down.
To recalibrate.
To honor the wild wisdom of my body that had carried me through decades of devotion.
I stopped chasing youth and started courting vitality. I let pleasure be my compass.
Now, I treat my body like the Ferrari she is.
Not for speed, but for sensation.
For curves.
For the way she hums when I honor her.
She's not broken.
She's brilliant.
And she's always been trying to steer me home.

Shannon Marie Lemire
Writing is a part of who I am; I go between handwritten lengthy journaling to sitting here glued in front of my laptop. As inspiration hits, I write; following the intuitive nudge on what to share.
You'll see many sides of me here.
Enjoy.
