Planet Sunset

Poem from Valla Beach

By Maggie BullochPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Too Bad

the sun sets

before the moon rises

They would look perfect together

Side by side

In the sky

Surrounded by pinks and peaches

And they would get along like no other

The moon would dive into her sea of deep emotions

As the sun reflects light off her gleaming white moon cheeks

They would talk about their days

And whisper galactic secrets

About all they have seen

And unseen

Throughout space and time

Two worlds, centered in the same universe.

A match made in the sky.
