To the times I saw my abuser while working.

God, could you please go away,

I don’t want to hear what you say.

I hate listening to your voice,

Now I have a choice.

_______________________

I don’t want you around,

I want to melt into the ground.

Go away you abusive monster,

I won’t obey you any longer.

_______________________

I won’t ever feel your hit,

And listen to your bullshit.

Seeing you revives my anger,

I wish you were just a stranger.

This was awful - I can’t believe you have to face anyone that’s abused you. I’m so sorry.

  • This made me so angry for you. 💜

Nothing is worse than having the abuser in your sight when you're on the path of healing. I feel this line so much 'seeing you revives my anger'. Protecting our peace is so very important, everything flows from that ❤️

Wow, these words really pack a punch—here’s to freedom from the people who tried to break us.
