Warm sunrays give a comforting glow,
To the wonderful ocean water below.
Shimmering lightly on the surface,
Having no real purpose.

It shimmers like a gorgeous jewel,
Warming this deep cold pool.
A gentle light to the fast river,
The sun is such a giver.

Pond deserves its own warm lover,
Bright warmth of the sun forever.
