Pirate Slim Jim

a poem...story

This is a tale about the Pirate Jim

You know, the one that is slim

The only one to have every single limb

You will know it is him

When you lay your eyes on him

He is a mighty rare gem

Though he is awful dim

Since he doesn’t know how to swim

On a sudden whim

He decided to kiss Kim

Now things look pretty grim

For a pirate that likes to sing a hymn

Looks like he may need a trim

And be made all prim

Loved this. You had me laughing out loud by the end.

My mum always told me pirates didn't learn to swim so as to have a quicker death. Doesn't seem to likely though.

I tried not to skim this poem on Jim. I will still think of him while I'm full of vim... Nice work!
