A pink lotus grows in muddy water and tells us to stick around.
I think my life might get harder but it’s worth it now to hold my ground.
They chose us to show our daughters how the world spins round and round.
Sometimes, there are waves in water, and we feel like we could drown.
A gold rush helps our fathers to keep their feet firm on the ground.
This world is lush with reds and blues and I stick around.
This world is full of ups and downs but, it truly can be beautiful.
I’m a girl who’s afraid of clowns even though they are so colorful.
I live in a world and try not to frown and look at all that’s wonderful.
I tread water and see a sunset on the horizon. That's pretty and powerful.
Every person has a heartbeat but people with power are inebriated.
Every star is a wonder and every flower is appreciated.
Colors are all around me and I feel under appreciated.
I'm a pink lotus but I feel the need to be inebriated.
Yellow bees buzz, passing pollen, and everything’s connected.
Mellow trees hum, leaves are falling, and everything’s reflected.
I hum. The reflections will freeze.
I meditate and try to talk to what’s rejected.
Colors are flashes of our souls and help us see our distractions.
People don’t want to believe in Hell but, they want to see the pretty Heaven.
I guess I can try to let the mud settle and keep wishing at eleven eleven.
