Picture in the Past

Confusion Doesn't Exist in Love

By Alisha BellPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

He kissed my shoulder softly

Forever in his embrace

I felt that etched line in my face

Strange they finally took they place

His hand gripped my waste

My eyes shot for space

Forever in this embrace

That smile, Oh that smile,

It took a while to come around

Maybe it fell a couple of times around town

Bright with LIGHT

Tho she hold's that day key

That love wasn't how it was supposed to be

She desperately needed to be free

But those days are forever with me

Stored away secretly building on how NOT to be

I pursued life vigorously, full of life respecting my inner

Never thinking of being a winner

Wanting to leave that dire mark, to help our people be less thinner

I am not perfect, I am a sinner

Never thought I would let another in that would staged me to be a sheeple

Those lines on her face broke from time to time playing into his people

My life began to have sadness

Over an over my love wanted to merge

I constantly seen how he was over the verge

His mental clarity is not here

Found my love and drew me near

Held me up, told me there was nothing to fear

Inadvertently making me understand ways love disappear

In his hand he discovered that photo from my past

Yet at last

He still doesn't understand the innocence of my joy that day

Everything comes from the past in its own way

He wanted to move selectively, and fast neglected to see me respectfully

That beauty that I found in me, irreplaceable looking back at that photo see

It had to be stored, because my feelings cant be ignored

Looking at that picture in the past, hua, made me a boss fast
