Two days later, they're weary, dehydrated, their clothes ragged, and their pale, strawberries-and-cream-skin scratched. They are also, not to put too fine a point on it, thoroughly lost.

A Failed Artist, A Disillusioned Poet, An Underpaid Game Show Host
I took my son and niece to Gori, a small town in Georgia where Joseph Stalin was born. They talked me into visiting the Stalin's Museum, the largest in the post-Soviet space. I had resisted going there because I just can't stand the monster and know enough about him, or so I thought.

“Winter’s ash” has a certain imagery power to it.
This one has that sense of mourning. I love the way it pushes into a flame whisper. How we see it fall to the ground. Winters ash. I like the way you phrased that. Nice work L.C ❤️🤗
