I can't get over the photo choice here. Very lovely. I love how deeply thought out this was. Linking the leaves to the phoenix. Then having our minds eye meet the resplendent burning gowns. Nice work. 🤗❤️
This was a creative way to look at fall! Nice job!
I love this! Such a creative way to look at it!
This is, as I believe the kids are probably not even saying anymore, MY JAM. This whole topic, this theme. October is my favourite colour. I love Autumn: the hot chocolate and big jumpers, cozy nights in, log fires, rain on the window, a good book. Crisp mornings, crunchy leaves underfoot, the full caboodle. The messages blowing about cheap and crackly: appreciate the good stuff while it's here. Find beauty and light even when things are darkening. All that jazz. I've written more about it here: "Summer Leaves" (a wanky poem) - https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/summer-leaves%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Here: "The Phoenix Tree" (microfiction): https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/the-phoenix-tree%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E And here (a whole bleddy book): https://shopping-feedback.today/writers/my-second-book-baby-is-crowning%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E So YES I love this challenge. The hard part is condensing the universe of Autumn into a singularity 🧐
resplendent burning gowns is a sublime phrase! excellent entry, LC!
Whoaaa, phoenix dresses the trees in resplendent burning gowns! I freaking loved that!
