Perfect Eternal Day

By Alejandra CarrascoPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

How many days do I count

Until the satisfaction sets in

For all I’ve done and for how long

It repeats in my head

What it will all look like

When it’s finally real

Perfect eternal day

So how many days do I count

Until the rot takes over

I’ve crawled this long

For my scepter and crown

It looks so pretty

When it’s finally real

Perfect eternal day

My googly-eyes blind

Of today’s cold gold

Head up in heaven

With blind adoration

For blissful liberation

Perfect

Eternal

Day

How many days do I count

Until the satisfaction sets in

For all I’ve done and for how long

Its repeats in my head

What it will all look like

When it’s finally real

Perfect eternal day
