ghost owl glides in stealth through mist,
crying you...you...you

A reflection of a truth as familiar as the cold of frost that pierces the bones. How beautiful it is! 😊
Returning to congratulate you on your honorable mention! I am happy this haiku placed in the challenge, Pamela.😊
Wooohooooo congratulations on your honourable mention! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
A haunting read indeed! I love the echo at the end. Not easy to incorporate into a haiku. Well done!
Yikes! Haunting, Pamela. I love the way you've infused the echo!
Possibly my favourite one to read- the flow in the first two lines particularly is so good. The twist on the sound of the owl fits nicely with the picture too!
Stunning and spooky. I love the sound appeal of the owl at the end so much!
That's spooky, Pamela!
Oh my LORD this is amazing. I need this to win the spooky haiku. Pamela!!!!
Omgggg, that would scare the shit outta me! Loved this so freaking much!
This is utterly fantastic. Your cover pic is so evocative and just sets the tone for your words. I love the last line. The whole haiku shines (or smokes, depending on how you look at it. 😉) Great!! ⚡💙 Bill⚡
On this quiet night/ morning at exactly 00:07am. The last line haunts me. I'm pretty sure I heard something. This one is definitely creeping me out. Not to mention the ghost owl. Who would ever want to run into one of those. Definitely not me. Expertly done, Pamela 🤗❤️
