Stay hidden safe

Pearly princess how majestic you seem
Clinging to rock in your saltwater stream
Barely a care as the tide ebbs and flows
Your shell-like existence a gift I suppose
Your gnarled craggy shell shields frail flesh held within
Your soft beating heart sighs foreboding of sin
Such silvery residue flaunted above
A gift to young passion boundless in love
So when you be hidden 'neath Luna's sure tide
Bid you restful repose in your waters abide

What a view of the underwater world through the image and words. Good job.
This was absolutely beautiful, especially the way you rhymed. Loved your poem!
Soft and luminous. really loved this, it was so calming to read.
I’m extremely anti-princess these days, so I’ll come back when I’m less cantankerous.
Is that a pearl peaking through there? Great poem, Raymond.
