Peaceful Light
Darkness shatters but light heals

Why is this heart aching
Wanting to break
Is it fate
For me to wait
For me to stay
Right here faithfully
Empty but full
Moving but still
Anticipating a fall
But stable on the wall
Or shall I leap
Repeating and repeating
A string of broken pieces
Shattering but piling up
Waiting to be free
But light pierces
It consumes with peace
Withering fear
Shimmering over peers
Who are waiting to hear
The laughter
The singing softer
The roughened no longer raw
For light heals
The broken visage
Restoring the largest tears
For where is light
But from within
