Verse 1: The Battlefield Lullaby

In fields where poppies bloom and whisper,

Where shadows of the past still linger,

A silent song, a mournful tune,

Calls to the brave, beneath the moon.

Beneath the earth, where heroes rest,

Lies the story, unexpressed.

Of battles fought with valor, pride,

Of dreams that died, but never lied.

Chorus: Peace to the Fallen

Peace to the fallen, peace to the brave,

To those who sleep in a soldier's grave.

Your sacrifice, we won't forget,

In every sunrise, your courage sets.

Verse 2: The Echoes of Valor

From the trenches, a ghostly cry,

Echoes of valor, that won't die.

In the wind, their whispers float,

On every breeze, a soldier's note.

They marched through fire, faced the dread,

With hearts of lions, spirits led.

Though cannon's roar has long since ceased,

Their legacy of hope increased.

Chorus: Peace to the Fallen

Peace to the fallen, peace to the brave,

To those who sleep in a soldier's grave.

Your sacrifice, we won't forget,

In every sunrise, your courage sets.

Bridge: The Guardian's Promise

We are the guardians of your dreams,

The torchbearers of your beams.

We hold your stories, keep them near,

In every heartbeat, you're revered.

With every flag that’s raised anew,

With every dawn's first golden hue,

We pledge our lives to honor you,

In deeds of kindness, pure and true.

Verse 3: A Nation's Heartbeat

In quiet towns and bustling streets,

In every heart, your memory beats.

From ocean waves to mountains high,

Your spirit soars, it will not die.

The children play, in freedom's name,

Because you fought, through blood and flame.

Their laughter is the greatest prize,

A testament that never dies.

Chorus: Peace to the Fallen

Peace to the fallen, peace to the brave,

To those who sleep in a soldier's grave.

Your sacrifice, we won't forget,

In every sunrise, your courage sets.

Outro: Eternal Vigil

So rest, dear souls, in sacred ground,

Your legacy, forever bound.

In peace, you lie, your duty done,

Eternal heroes, every one.

Peace to the fallen, peace profound,

In every heart, your love is found.

We honor you, in silent prayer,

In every breath, you're always there.

This performance poem, "Peace to the Fallen," serves as a tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, capturing the solemnity and reverence they deserve.
