In the heart of the forest where shadows dance,
A symphony of life begins its trance.
Where the ancient oaks with whispers speak,
And streams of silver secrets leak.
The morning dew on emerald blades,
A canvas where the sun invades.
Gentle fawns with speckled coats,
In silent reverence, nature notes.
A fox with fur of fiery hue,
Slips through the trees, the morning dew.
Its eyes alight with cunning grace,
A phantom in this sacred place.
High above in azure skies,
An eagle soars where freedom lies.
Its cry a herald of the dawn,
A regal spirit proudly drawn.
Through verdant fields and meadows wide,
Where wildflowers in beauty bide,
Butterflies in fluttered flight,
Paint the air with colors bright.
The river's song, a tranquil sound,
Where salmon leap and joy is found.
Beneath the surface, secrets stir,
Of life unseen in water’s blur.
In shadows deep where night owls rest,
Beneath the moon in its silver vest,
A chorus rises, soft and sweet,
Of crickets' serenade, discreet.
The wolf’s lone howl, a haunting tune,
Echoes under the watchful moon.
A call to kin, a pledge of might,
A melody of primal night.
Amidst the trees, the ancient pines,
A stag appears, in stately lines.
Its antlers like a crown of grace,
A monarch of this wild space.
The bees that buzz from bloom to bloom,
In nature’s temple, they resume,
Their sacred task, their golden flight,
Weaving day into the night.
In marshes where the willows weep,
The herons wade and secrets keep.
Their silent steps through waters clear,
Echoing a time held dear.
The wild boar in bristled might,
Roots through the earth with appetite.
A creature of the ancient lore,
With stories carved in tusk and core.
Beneath the canopy's embrace,
A myriad of lives find grace.
From smallest ant to towering tree,
All threads in nature's tapestry.
At dusk, the twilight gently falls,
And night’s deep blanket softly calls.
The bats emerge on silent wings,
To dance where moonlit music rings.
The stars ignite the velvet skies,
Where constellations weave their ties.
A cosmic dance of light and dark,
Reflected in the wild lark.
In every breath, the wild heart beats,
In secret glens and hidden retreats.
A harmony of life unchained,
In wilderness, pure and unfeigned.
So let us tread with reverence deep,
Where wild things roam and secrets keep.
For in their world, we find our own,
A bond with earth, our spirits grown.
End
This poem, a humble ode,
To wilderness, where life’s codes
In intricate beauty are displayed,
A sacred symphony, nature’s parade.
