Passion Like A Gypsy

When it comes to art, I’m a gypsy at heart.

So many passions I don’t know where to start.

I see the world in an array of colors.

Some more vibrant than others.

I see the sadness that hides beneath the greys and darkest blues.

Turning them into poems - sharing my pain of what is true.

Capturing the auras that glow through the lens.

Shines a smile reflecting at me from within.

I paint the feelings that my heart carries.

A rainbow of colors telling unknown stories.

Even after I’m dead and gone.

The work I’ve done will carry on.

Through curious eyes of maze and wonder.

Hidden pigments of my soul will be discovered.

I have many layers of self-doubt and fear.

A spectrum of color that’s not so clear.

Unique to some - ordinary to others.

Out of the darkness, I prevail, in the form of colors.
