An English-Spanish bilingual poem

@Seema

I went on a paseo solitario in my barrio,

I picked gardenia flores,

I was treated with canciones of pinzones.

I admired the neighbors' rosas.

Stood under sicómoro.

I saw árboles turn to siluetas.

I watched atardecer to the oeste.

Listened to the sonido of grillo.

and watched magnolia against the luna.

I saw a conejo nibbling in the césped.

I saw the farola flickering.

@Seema

I enjoyed my soledad, and got dopamine kick,

 I felt sano, and thanked my rodillas.

 I came back casa, with a corazon feliz.

English translation:

I went on a solitary walk in my neighborhood. I picked gardenia flowers.

 I was treated to the songs of finches. I admired the neighbors' roses. I stood beneath the sycamore tree. I watched the trees turn into silhouettes.

 I watched the sunset in the west. I listened to the sound of crickets and saw the magnolia glowing against the moon.

I spotted a rabbit nibbling on the grass. I saw the streetlamp flickering. I enjoyed my solitude and felt a wave of dopamine. I felt healthy and thanked my knees. I came back home with a happy heart.

    A beautiful story in both languages. I still remember some Basic Spanish. Good job.

    That sounds like a really nice walk. I can picture it all. Made me think of my own strolls in the neighborhood. Do you think taking these solo walks regularly can really boost mental health like it seems to for you? I like how you noticed all the little details, from the flowers to the animals. It makes me want to be more observant on my walks too. What's your favorite part of this kind of solitary outing?
