Something pinched the pincher off,

maybe another sea creature did it just to show off.

Somewhere there is a one-pincher-armed-crab crawling sideways or swimming in circles missing his other pincher.

If I could sew it back on,

then I surely would,

instead, I’ll hold it in my hand.

Shallow, clear water smiles at me,

I smile back and feel so glad.

I wish you had been there too to experience all the warm fun and sun!

Written with a child like joy! Rejuvenating and timeless. I enjoyed this and now I want to help put a pincher back on a crab... lol

Maybe he left it for you to find so that you would know he was there, kinda like scratching " I was here" in the sand, so you would have a part of him to remember a wonderful day full of great memories. Seashells are houses left behind too 😊❤️✨

The ending brings in a sweet touch of nostalgia and shared joy. If you ever figure out how to sew pinchers back on, that crab would probably appreciate it.✨
