Why is love so wildly impractical?

Why do we act all funny~freaky~fanatical?

Why can’t I find joy in being a monk instead?

Or, maybe strap me to some insane asylum bed!

Brainwash me so I just forget it all,

I’d pay an anesthesiologist to do a number on me,

making me numb-er all over.

One, two, three…

no more inconveniences of feelings from myself.

‬‬ Love can move mountains, it can part the seas of despair, it is nothing to fear and has nothing to fear. Real Love is truth, and it will set you free. ❤️😊

This is sharp and punchy! The play on “numb-er” is clever, and the rhythm keeps it engaging. If you do find that brainwashing anesthesiologist, let me know. Might need a discount deal.
