Paradise

To find paradise is to unfold the contracts of this reality.

I am always left in utter chaos

Of life’s unfair reality,

Where truth is nothing but whispers

And lies are heard from afar,

Where being born is suicide

And dying is bliss.

Where perfection is beauty

And kindness is a freak,

Where pride is power

And humility is downfall,

Where wars are justified

And peace is temporary,

Where fame and fortune are wealth

And generosity and compassion are poverty,

Where unfaithfulness is pleasure

And love, oh love, is lost.

I am always left in utter chaos

Of life’s unfair reality,

Standing directly in the path of muted destruction,

I am slowly consumed

By the tremors of society.
