I think there's something out there

With me, that I cannot see

I do not have to know it

But I can clearly show it.

When I cry I cry with oceans

Sometimes we are sad

Sometimes we are just doing our thing -

With water

Reaching every living corner

Breathing with life, the winds and I

Have broken many hearts,

Slapped faces into wonder,

Cleared the air…

When I walk I walk with the earth

Growing on the same playground

We fight and make up

Like the seasons, changing we dance

In the night to drums in our ears hums in our hearts fire

This poem is part of a series of 25 daily word experiments I am committing to for the month of October. The motto: “Sometimes garbage, sometimes sweet, not fun everyday, but everyday anyway!” Intrigued to experience what can be created (and discovered) in the process of developing a consistent writing practice, I will be writing a poem a day until my Vocal+ subscription ends at the end of the month. Let’s gooooo!
