Out East
Diamond Dreams Movement Production

Out East Drinking 40s at the corner store,
cops perpetuating, always lurking, even when me & some of the crew mediating,
always elevating, the boys in blue respect us because of our demeanor, still don’t stop some of them because of our color,
we don’t fear but we respect, the usual isn’t always the same for the other sets,
some of the homies riding on Gold Forgiatos, we call those mobile clouds, matching clouds we feel we created for ourselves,
we got homies serving flour, pharmaceuticals, even got me cultivating the weeds in the garden, making flowers,
the women like us for the way we talk,
always handling business, they know what we do isn’t all good,
for us we still take care of the people in our hoods, urban fashion is our best friend, reppin’ it now,
smoking that loud pack, remembering days that I couldn’t, showing our true colors with every thread,
unfortunately for the most part in the hood once you introduced yourself to another, you usually know how everyone is,
their moves, intentions, probably whose their friends,
Out East I’m so used to seeing fine cities & amazing people from different worlds, diversity is different because everyone is here, it’s like a universal time square,
next time your in New Jersey, ask for Derek Lott, He’s know as the mayor, long-haired Boss, making Boss moves, Out East, soon to be everywhere!!!
