The title came to me thinking about my inspirational friend and how they inspire me with their words and encouragement.
I have used Joni Mitchell's "River" once again as it is a beautiful song to play while reading this. I know it is a Christmas song but it is always wonderful to listen to.

Tornado
I thought the shape of a tornado would lend itself to a visual freeform poem, but decided that an acrostic would give it a semblance of defined form. As I wrote this I realised the word contained only seven letters so the poem is quite short but I hope it manages to convey a little of the terror that a tornado or any natural destructive phenomenon can induce.
