Countless threads, weightless

Unfold myriad memories, priceless

*

A baby’s crown

So bare and pure

Mother’s initial touch

Brimming with tender care

*

A little girl’s smile glows

Intertwined into the braids

Secured upon the bows

Revealing her growing character

Showcased through the ribbons she wears

*

The teenage boy’s bold declaration

Messy look craving genuine admiration

Dyed or natural

A tumultuous internal battle

*

The old married couple stare into the reflective glass

Every strand that still stands testifies to time’s swift pass

Acceptance blooms without fear

On life’s stage, a grand premiere

*
