Our Destructive Path

Sunset comes with sweeping lies,

lulling you into a serene peace.

Eyes closed we walk hand in hand

along the shore of destiny;

tiny lifeforms fleeing

beneath the sand.

With this connection

of flesh and promise,

I entrust to you

a future for you to trample,

molded by the imprints

of our destructive path.

Author's Hello!

I MISSED YOU ALL! <3

The holidays are over and thus I must come crawling out from under the mounds of blankets and empty cups of hot coco to continue my writing war path. I got A TON planned and the only thing standing in my way is...well, ME, my own worst enemy. xD

Very excited to dive back into reading what I've missed and interacting with all of you! Let's make 2025 a good one!

    Really repaints the image of sunset walks on the beach! A lot hanging in the balance with such strong foreshadowing imagery! Very well done, Amanda! Hope you enjoyed the holidays and Happy New Year!
