The Oubliette by Tyr Johansen
You say none can know
Thus you come to me at night
No need to worry
……
Night is a cover
For a multitude of sins
If these walls could talk
…..
Welcome home my dear
Here no one will ever know
Of our passion
……
Perfect place for love
Hidden in the deepest night
Cold, dank oubliette
…..
I see you shiver
Come to me, let me warm you
I’ll make your blood boil
…..
Never mind the rats
They only nibble a bit
You get used to it

Hahahahahahahahhaha the rats only nibble a bit! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such an amazing and lovely poem!!🤩👏
Wow. This is creepy in a subtle kinda way. Then there’s seething intensity at the end. Poetry can be read so many different ways and it might not be exactly what you intended but I interpreted this piece as a horror poem. Sounds like it could be a madman or a murderer talking to a victim. In any case, it’s very well written, and captivating in an uncomfortable way
Wow I love it
Great poem! 💕
