Sonnet

I shall ask one question you must ponder

How can sunsets cause sight to become blurred?

Morrow's sunrise offers you fresh wonder

I must stir the pot of a latent herd

***

You would never hang a picture half-drawn

You should never quit a sentence mid-way

Shunning your light is like opposing dawn

Night time is only twelve hours each day

***

But if you yearn for a new direction

Grab hold of dreams made of sweet summer's past

Be a mirror shining in reflection

Make dreams come true now with the life thou hast

***

Darkness will win when you refuse to live

Make light your choice; cry, laugh, let go; forgive
