burning

Burning

Burning

Burning orange fire sun twilight sunshine moon glow

You fall asleep on the water

Twilight halls asleep burning

streams made of ethers

Dipped in red melted roses

Combined with glowing embers

And laced with candied rays of heated tears

Your tears,

I’m burning

Burning burning burning

Plasma steel, mercury orange lollipops in space.

Burning, burning

There’s nothing but a silent sound.

Choking on the richness of air,

Sinking under the river of moon risen

Despair.

Spinning on the silver plate in the air,

It’s burning, burning, burning

dancing, rushing the rising energy that transformed into my lifeless

Heart

Like an attack that feels like an alien embrace

Dreaming of summer sweet balms and light moon salves

That are burning up but not hot,

Just a twinkling sound,

Like broken chimes.
