One Tooth, and Above Thousand Dollars!
High healthcare cost is making me angry

Anger is not a good thing,
but that is what
I am feeling right now.
Of many suitors,
I chose my spouse.
He is a self-made man
from a humble background.
My goal was to
to help him,
all ways possible,
financially sure too.
But when situations,
turn against you,
you cannot do much.
I remained dependent,
or has short job stints.
I was still fine,
thinking with my frugal manners,
I am not draining,
his slim savings,
in this costly land.
But today,
for fixing one molar tooth,
we paid twelve hundred dollars!
When even ten dollars
is not easy to come by,
by cerebral writing,
that amount for one tooth,
feels outrageous.
I am not only
not fattening his wallet,
but making a major dent.
I am really very angry.
First, they inflame us
with endless chemicals.
Then, in the name
of high-end care,
they suck us dry.
I feel like a parasite
for no fault of my own.
Note: How is healthcare cost at your place?

Omg that’s a great amount of money for 1 tooth. Wow 😢💣🔨
I wouldn't be able to afford to have all my teeth taken care of if I didn't have insurance. Now, I'm running into a problem of finding a provider who takes my insurance AND who will work with my heart doctor. Fingers crossed, this next dentist doesn't send me to yet another one...
