One More Day

This could pertain to a lot of things. People could be asking for one more day of sunshine, one more day of rain, one more day to find a job, or one more day to have your hearts desire.

"Or"

One More Day With Someone You Love

Who would you choose and why?

One More Day With My Son Pictured Above

He was my best friend to me his mother. He was my greatest supporter, and I was his.

He was a blessing to everyone he met. He helped people he considered down on their luck, and he was often one of them. However, that made him more appreciative to what they were going through.

He loved children, animals and his family.

Then why did a gunman put twelve bullets in him at close range, on March 27, 2015 @ 11:20 pm.

Why Did He Have To Die???

I Will Be Discussing Gun Violence

Whether you support gun control or oppose it, than you tell me why innocent victims have to die, with bullets.

In wars or just random, or targeted.

I will be writing a book about my son's murder, so if you want to weigh in your opinion about why these things happen, I will include it in the book, and with your comment please let me know if you would like your name included in the book with your comment.

You could have it included as:

Susan from Delaware -

Or just Susan

or just a writer on Vocal

Or anonymous

Please please weigh in - or you can leave a comment with:

I do not wish my comment to appear in the book.

I will respect your wishes.

However, please comment, this is a pressing issue - "Gun Violence" and "Gun Control", in today's world, and I would appreciate your comments and opinions on this very personal and important subject.

My best friend from my college days works in a gun shop in North Dakota. We don't see quite eye-to-eye on this issue. People like to argue, "Guns don't kill, people do." I counter that guns make it so much easier for those with the impulse to kill to do so, & allow them to do it at greater distances & to do so repeatedly much more rapidly. They claim it's their constitutional right to keep & bare arms. I point out that they're ignoring the attached clause "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State." I also like to ask if they believe that owning anything from heavy artillery to nuclear weapons are also a constitutional right, inasmuch as that's what it would take to match the power of an invading or tyrannical force today. Assuming that they don't, I then like to ask where their cutoff lies concerning their right to "bear arms". If they do believe they have such a right to anything & everything, I simply assume we have nothing left to talk about (& shudder considering what it would be like to live in their world if it ever came to fruition). You may feel free to quote me if you wish, & describe me however you feel is appropriate.

The world can be so cruel at times, and I'm really sorry Susan. I'm a pacifist, so I'm against all weaponry to be honest. I'm also in the UK and we don't have to worry about any guns, but there are still some sick and twisted people out there.

With tears in my eyes, I wish I could have just one more minute to tell him I love him. I will never understand why they took his life.
