One Little, Two Little, Three Little Shits
A Dodoitsu
Junior loved football, he did
He practiced all day, that kid
He would run right into me
on purpose you see!
~
Pat needed a target yet
he would even use our pet
The ball would fly through the air
He would get the glare!
~
Steven was always teasing
he wasn’t ever pleasing
Giving the dog a big chop
Dog gave him a chomp!
~
Three boys, me, a pet, and dog
wrestling in mud like a hog
some say why, and I say bye
to the boys and I!
~
Everyone is going home
the boys first, that is for sure
they cry as they want to roam
parents have the cure!
~~

Great poem and I never heard of this kind of poem before. Kids are special in all that they do and say.
The lovely scenes of childhood activities with friends and a pet bring such joy and nostalgia, capturing the carefree spirit of youth perfectly!
Oh wow, I've never heard of Doidotsu before! You've executed it brilliantly!

EXCELLENT STORY AND TITLE!
This is great and lighthearted, Denise, although I still couldn't figure out the three shits.
