One day you'll regret it

A poem about being in a relationship and being ignored.

By Visionary GhostwriterPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

One day you'll regret it.

You'll wake up and wish you

Would have just played that game

One day you'll regret it

You'll beat yourself up thinking

Oh, I just wish I had

Just a little more time

One day you'll regret it

Spend months wishing

You had been more present

And just put the phone down

One day you'll regret it

Stay up all night wishing, praying, hoping

You could hear me talk

Tell you that one story you never paid attention to.

One day you'll regret this

You'll regret making everything but me

More important

And when that day comes.

I'll be gone.

And you won't get another chance
