Once You Were My Secret Love

I loved you then, I still love you now

Once You Were My Secret Love

You were my love, my secret love,

Only you and I knew this,

Except for the Lord above;

You were mine, my secret love.

We held hands and walked,

No need to talk at all.

You were my secret love—

That says it all.

Loving you, the attraction there,

We felt the magnetic pull.

You were my secret love;

I wanted you. I didn’t care.

You were my secret love,

Sleeping naked next to you.

I was yours; you were mine,

Always there—my secret love.

We split up; no secret love,

The end of us two.

No secret love anymore,

Just a memory forevermore.
