On the street
As the bike floats down the street
The wind shows the leaves where to go.
Children’s laughter cuts the air
Figures chasings a ball
As the bike peddles down the street
Old folks stare from the verandas
Waiting for their time
The stories they could tell
As the bike floats down the street
Cars traveling through time
Children become old folks
Stories become memories
As the bike peddles down the street
Time shows the thoughts where to go
By voices of the children
By paper to the history
