Another peaceful road trip is underway. Dad’s been driving for about 2 and a half hours. Nobody wants to drive 5 hours straight, so obviously it was time for a little rest break. We take the next exit and head to the gas station. It was close to a few fast food shots. I had been holding it for the past 20 minutes. So the moment Dad parked the car, I hopped out and ran to the restroom. After that we got a bite to eat before we got back on the road. Almost 3 more hours until we arrive.

What a climactic way to end such a fun weekend. I'm glad we got out of the house for once. All that time we spent in the house was really worth it. It just made me realize how much I wanted to be outside with my friends. On the drive back home, we all joked about the fire and the bear. We didn't see it as a bad thing. These are stories we will tell our kids when we get older. Can't wait for our next trip. And as much as I love the thrill, we are definitely avoiding campfires.
