On Shore of She
I cannot leave the shore of she
By Octovo Libra Published 4 years ago • Updated 4 years ago • 1 min read
I cannot leave the shore of she,
Her crystal eye as far as mine can see,
Is a great stretch of a Siren’s sea,
Her clashing songs lead ears to love;
This buried heart beneath the sand
Beats in synch with my own and—
The flow that ebbs I touch with my hand,
She caressingly flood my skin with love;
Never could I thought this deep blue
Would be a symbol of my love for you,
Red was always the loving hue,
But now I know no color can shape my love;
Love like her highest wave,
Could pass for a mountain range,
Her softening blue shows her immortal age,
And our immortal waves of love
